1) "go in for”意为“参加”或“喜爱”，用来表示爱好。
2) "kind of"是口语中经常用到的，意为“有一些，挺……”，用来形容事物或人的特征，语气比较委婉。
3) "gun collecting"，与之类似的还有"stamp collecting"(集邮):"coin collecting"(收集硬币);"telephone card collecting”等。
4) "cup of tea”有多重含义:一是“轻而易举的事”，就象中文的“小菜一碟”;还有一个意思是一个人喜欢或搜长的事。本句话中就是这个意思。
