A: How do you dress for work?
B: Casual Fridays are allowed in our company. What about you?
A: Our Company didn't have a dress code, but I think people would wear formalclothing(正装)to work.
B: Well, I think it depends on the situations.

(1) Casual Friday星期五便装日，指员工在星期五这一天可以穿便装上班，不要求穿职业装，比如穿西装打领带。类似的表达还有Sunday Best节日服装，比较好的服装。在美国和其他西方国家，人们星期天去教堂时总会穿得很正式，很好看。所以，Sunday Best就是指一个人漂亮的衣服。不仅去教堂可以穿Sunday Best，出席婚礼、去别人家做客等一些特殊场合都可以穿Sunday Best.
(2) would rather... than…表示“宁愿……而不愿……”“与其……宁可……”，用在两者中进行取舍时，是一种主观愿望。也可用would... rather than…句型。如:
I would rather go to the cinema than go shopping.
I would go to the cinema rather than go shopping.
我宁可去看电影而不愿去购物。
