　　Nowadays people travel more than before. Why is this case? Do you think the advantages of traveling outweigh its disadvantages?

　　In recent years, with the development of economy, people's income increases sharply. At the same time,the price of traveling decreases rapidly because competition among travel companies is becoming fiercer.

　　Therefore, people travel more than before. Some people hold the opinion that traveling is beneficial for us in many aspects. However there are also a lot of people who strongly advocate that we should not go out for travel frequently. It is quite understandable that people from different backgrounds have different attitudes towards the same issue.

　　Those who believe that disadvantages of the traveling outweigh its advantages give their reasons as follows.The first reason is that travelers have to spend a large sum of money. It is commonly accepted that traveling lays a heavy financial burden on their families. Another reason is that traveling may be dangerous for travelers. In other words, travelers may be in danger because they are not familiar with the local surroundings.

　　However, further analysis would make it clear that traveling brings us more advantages. In the first place,traveling is beneficial to people's psychological health. Researches reveal that fresh air and clear water have positive effects on our mental health. In the second place, travelling can broaden our horizons. It is well known that the knowledge which is acquired in other places helps us to become more open-minded. In addition, we can have opportunities to know different culture and make friends with people from different cultural backgrounds.
