Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes or other fruits. The natural chemical ingredient of grapes lets them ferment without the addition of sugars, acids, enzymes, water, or other nutrients. While a distilled liquor is an alcoholic beverage containing ethanol that is produced by means of fermenting grain, fuit, or vegetables. This excludes fermented beverages without distillation such as beer, wine, etc.
