　　新托福独立写作题目分类

　　如果把题库的每道题目都练习一遍.确实可以提高考生的写作能力，但实在太费时费力了.因此需要学会将题目分类整理到只有十几个话题.那么复习就更有效率了。

　　考虑到新托福独立写作部分的特点，我们不但要对题目进行题材分类.还要进行题目结构分类。

　　1.题目的结构分类

　　可以按照题目的问法把185个题目分为三类:考查偏好(Preference)的题目39道.考查观点选择(Opinion)的题目93道.开放性的题目(Open Question)53道。但是在这185个题目中.有17个题目在题目的表述中明确要求考生使用比较/反差手段，笔者把这些题目单列出来.称为比较/反差类题目(Comparison/Contrast).

　　第一类:偏好类题目 (Preference)

　　偏好类题目考查考生在两个事物中做出选择(不是两个观点的好坏选择)，并为自己的选择做出解释的能力.比较典型的题目都会以“Which do you prefer?”来结尾.比如:

　　9. Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in?

　　13. Some people prefer to eat at food stands or restaurants. Other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. Which do you prefer?

　　17. Some people think that they can learn better by themselves than with a teacher.Others think that it is always better to have a teacher. Which do you prefer?

　　31.Some people spend their entire lives in one place. Others move a number of times throughout their lives. looking for a better job, house, community. or even climate. Which do you prefer;staying in one place or moving in search of another place?

　　33. You have received a gift of money. The money is enough to buy either a piece of jewelry you like or tickets to a concert you want to attend. Which would you buy?

　　44. Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone.

　　45. Some people prefer to get up early in the morning and start the day's work. Othersprefer to get up later in the day and work until late at night. Which do you prefer?

　　这些题目的考点比较简单.大多数都可以靠通用理由通用思维来解决，因此在如今的考试中出现得越来越少.即使考类似的题li也会改成观点类题II (Opinion)的出地方式来考查，因此考生不要仅仅围绕题库中的考法来准备.应尽可能同时考虑这些题目的题材一般可以写些什么内容。

　　第二类:观点类题目

　　观点类的题目考代考生对某一观点对错、正误、好坏的分析.或者在两个观点中选择正确、更重要或更有效的一个。由于考查的不是偏好.所以很多这样的题目并不能直接使用通用理由来套.往往需要其体化或者分情况来完成论证层次的建立。也正是由于这个原因，新托福考试中这样的题目越来越多，很多原来题库中其他类型的题目都被改成了观点类题目来进行考查。

　　观点类题型比较典型的提问方式有:
