　　Apparently, happiness is to people what air is to earth. Never has happinessfailed to fascinate people from all walks-of life in human history. However, I disagree with this viewpoint.

　　Advocates insist that happiness stems from economic success. First of all,economic success can imply one's social status, which is regarded by many peopleas an important cause of happiness. 　　Nevertheless, I do strongly believe that there are other factors contributing tohappiness. Love and being loved are happiness. Needless to say, love lays asolid foundation for happiness.

　　Another point to be considered is that long-term happiness is also based ongiving. When one gives something to others and asks nothing for return, one willbe happy. A hard truth is that the more one gives, the more one has; for the simplereason that one's spirit is fulfilled and one's satisfaction is achieved. In this way,happiness will be one's reward.
