　　Now I've settled in to Nanjing. I must drop you a line to fill you in on my newlanguage school.

　　The school was founded in 1901 but the teaching and the facilities are bang up to date.The classes are really lively and the teaching methods get all the students involved. It's not the teachers,but the students who do most of the talking. In spite of all the grammatical mistakes the students make, the teachers encourage them to speak as much as possible. The students are organized into several groups to discuss various topics and then one student from each group gives a summary of what everyone has said and what conclusion they have come to. In this way, we students can not only practise English, but also exchange our ideas. I'm enjoying it enormously and learning heaps too.
