一. 地点类话题的考试内容
地点类话题作为托福独立口语task1中常考话题之一，按照题目类型，我们主要分为大地点，小地点以及自然景观这三大类题型。虽然提问的方式有很多种，比如Talk about a place you enjoyed going to or visiting when you were a child. Describe the place. Explain why you enjoyed it或者Where would you like to live, mountain, forest, beach or desert?但是回答的中心点都是让考生对于某一个地点进行描述。
二. 答题技巧
其实回答地点类话题并不难， 只需要找到一个自己熟悉的地方，并且找到两三点特色，用自己经历的细节或者与众不同的点加以阐释即可，当然了，每个城市的特色我们可以以这5各方面作为参考：
(1)食物，地的美食种类繁多，小到街边小吃，大到五星级酒店，每个地方都有自己的特色;
(2)人：不同城市的人们各有着自己的文化特色，大的城市人员流动比较复杂，中外混合;小城市宁静，人们有着固有的思维方式和生活方式;
(3)风景：城市或乡村总会有值得欣赏的景色，亦或小溪流淌，鸟鸣花香等等;
(4)历史名胜：中国毕竟是一个文明古国，有很多名胜古迹，而这些也是城市吸引游人的一个重要的特色。

四.例题解析
Describe a city you would like to visit.
