GRE写作：读题目.找出原论述的结论和证据
找结论是首要的也是重要的一步。因为只有确定了原论述的结论，才有可能对原文作者的推理或论证展开攻击，而这也正是Argument写作的核心任务。有些题目的结论可能不止一个，这时我们根据它们的作用.又可把它们分为’‘中间结论(intermediate conclusion)”和‘’总结论(final conclusion)".总结论一般是原论述的第-句)或后一句话，以“建议(recommendation)" , "声称(claim)"或“预言(prediction)”的形式出现，通常由therefore,thus, consequently, so等信号词引导。通过读题，我们发现本题的第一句话和后一句话分别是原论述的“中间结论”和“总结论，’。为了便于分析，我们罗列如下:
1)中间结论:The University of Claria is generally considered one of the best universities in the world becauseof its instructors' reputations, which are based primarily on the extensive research and publishing record ofcertain faculty members.
2)总结论:Therefore, because of the reputation of its faculty, the University of Claria should be the obviouschoice for anyone seeking a quality education.
经过观察.我们发现总结沦依赖于中间结论.它们之问的主要逻辑关系如下:
1) The University of Claria is generally considered one of the best universities in the world.(中间结论)2) Therefore, the University of Claria should be the obvious choice for anyone seeking a quality education.(总结论)结论通常都是由一些论据(evidence)支撑的，大多数的题目中都有至少2-3个论据来支持题目中所提出的结论。本题的论据如下:
1)Several faculty members are internationally renowned leaders in their fields.
2) Many of the faculty from the English department are regularly invited to teach at universities in othercountries.
3) Two recent graduates of the physics department have gone on to become candidates for the Nobel Prize inPhysics.
4) And 75 percent of the students are able to find employment after graduating.
列出论据以后，就要认真分析这些论据是如何支持原沦述的中间结论和总结论的。易藤国际教育小编提示：特别要留意原论述的结论是否依赖于某些未经证实的或不合理的假设。同时。要考虑哪些额外的信息会有助于你对某一个论据是否很好地支持了结论进行评价。除此之外，还要考虑以下两点:
1)原论述的本身是否存在逻辑错误(例如.自相矛盾的说法或循环论证等);2)原论述是否依赖于某些含糊不清的.或未经定义的关键术语。
