karen: hi helen. how are you?

helen: just fine, thanks karen. how about you?

karen: really well, thanks. i'm glad i met you because i want to ask you for some advice.

helen: no problem. ask me anything you want and i will help if i can.

karen: what is the best way to organize a lot of information for study?

helen: good question. i always find that if i make a summary of the information, it is easier to remember. also a quick quiz can be very helpful.

karen: can you help me to make a small quiz now?

helen: sure, but remember that i will be keeping score!

brian: sure buddy. what can i do for you?

dario: i am doing a survey about television. can you answer a few questions for me?

brian: no problem - fire away.

dario: how much tv do you watch each week?

brian: well, let's see. i watch about 4 hours a day, so that's 28 hours per week.

dario: and what types of shows do you mainly watch?

brian: i watch comedy shows, history series and education shows.

dario: what education shows do you watch?

brian: mainly shows to improve my english.

dario: that's so old-fashioned dude. you should go to the xianzai website instead.

betty: hmmm. i don't really know. any suggestions?

alex : how about we all go to a bar and drink martini?

betty: that sounds very cool and groovy.

alex : ok then. i know a new hang-out that has just opened.

betty: i'm following you!

andrea: i have to sit for an english exam on monday.

zane: no problems - just study hard this weekend.

andrea: i can't seem to get into the mood for study.

zane: no problem. we can team study.

andrea: thanks. you are a really buddy.
