吃土的英语口语怎么说
吃土这一说法，最初源于2015双十一购物狂欢节("Double 11" carnival)。
网友们在购物的过程中因花销超预算(beyond budgeting)自嘲下个月“吃土”来形容对网络购物的一种疯狂程度，后来延伸到口袋没钱的含义。
英语里也有吃土的说法哦。
不过eat one’s dust的意思就不是吃土咯，它表示：被对手远远甩在身后;受辱，和望尘莫及的意思差不多。
比如：

通常把“吃土”译为：eat/live on dirt/soil。
