I .Could you cover for me on Monday?
"Cover for someone”意指“帮某人代班”。substitute也可以表达同样的意思，但cover更口语化一些."Could you..."是一种非常有用的表示请求的形式，比“Can you…”更显委婉和尊敬。

"errand”中文是“短程差使”，用法还是相当活络的，例如:
