　　What makes life worthwhile? Different peoplemay have different answers to this question.

　　Some people may think that moneyand power is the most important for one's life. Othersmay regard devotion andsuccess as essential for their life. As far as I'm concerned I agreewith thelatter instead of the former.

　　There goes an old saying: no pains, no gains.In our country as well as all over the world,there are many scientists whospend much of their time and energy doing research work.

　　Though they don'tnecessarily earn much money, yet they are very happy when they succeed,becausethey have done something meaningful and have contributed, in a degree, tohumanbeings.

　　Therefore, we may conclude that money or thelike is useful, while devotion andcontribution is indispensable for our life.Only when we have worked hard and have donesomething beneficial to our careerand to mankind, can we feel our life really worthwhile. （161words）
