关于传统与现代游戏的雅思作文范文

　　Each area has a traditional game, which is played by children. Recently, it started to vanish. This is truly terrible news, because of the fact that a traditional game is the inheritance from the older. Why do children choose modern games?' .The development of technology has led to the status quo, but technology is not at fault for this.

　　What we cannot deny is that children are more interested in modern games than traditional ones. Modern games are advantageous in less of movement: for example, Nintendo, play station, PC games, and online games are modern games which do not need children to move a lot. They only need to sit in front of TV or a computer, and then they can start it and enjoy it. However,it leads to some serious physical problems such as near-sightedness and obesity.

　　Children should be guided so that they can choose traditional games rather than modern games.For one thing, traditional games have a huge impact on children's brains and their communication with other children which are two elementary. skills in the adult world. Considering that childhood is important for children to learn something new, it will be disappointing if in this period children only spend the time in front of a computer or the television screen. For another, many traditional games represent one nation's history and culture like the kites in ancient China, which is a way to convey information, and still remains a popular national game now. Through playing those “old-fashioned” games, children can easily establish a direct awareness of national culture and customs.

　　All in all, we cannot deny that modern games have gone beyond traditional games. I just hope that traditional games will not vanish from our life, for they not only can train the youth by many skills physically, but also can recall the best moments with friends.

　　每个地区都有孩子们玩的传统游戏，但近却开始消失了。这确实是条可怕的消息，因为事实上传统游戏是老一辈的遗产。那么孩子们为何选择了现代游戏呢？不断发展的科技造成了现有局面，但是我们却不能归咎于科技。

　　我们不可否认的是，相比传统游戏，孩子们更热衷现代游戏。其优势是运动量小，例如，任天堂、游戏机、电脑游戏和网络游戏等现代游戏根本不须要孩子们进行运动。他们只要坐在电视机或电脑前面享受游戏。然而，这就给身体带来了一系列严重的问题，比如近视和肥胖。

　　孩子们须要引导去选择传统游戏，而不是现代游戏。一方面，因为传统游戏对孩子的智力和人际交往一成人世界必备的两项基本技能有一很大影响，与此同时童年也是孩子学习新事物很重要的一个阶段，如果孩子在这一阶段只是对着电视机或者电脑，那该是多么令人失望啊！另一方面，许多传统游戏都体现了民族历史和文化，比如在中国古代，风筝是用来传递消息的，现在它仍旧是民间流行的游戏。通过玩这些“过时”的游戏，孩子们很容易直接建立对民族文化和习俗的认知。

　　总之，我们不能否认现代游戏已超越了传统游戏。但是，我只希望传统游戏不要从生活中消失，因为传统游戏不仅能够训练孩子们的一些身体技能，还能够唤起我们与朋友之间美好的记忆。
