Indeed, it is the children's responsibility and obligation to take care of their parents when they are old. However, as for me, a better way to ensure them to live a happy life is to send them to the nursing home.

　　First of all, in such retirement homes, aging people can receive intensive medical care from professional doctors. Besides, they can receive a proper diet prepared by dieticians to meet their individual requirements. This is especially good for those old people in poor health. Moreover, they could have regular medical check-ups so that any disease could be diagnosed in its early stage. What is the most beneficial is that if any disease strikes them, medical services are immediately available.

　　Living in nursing homes, they have more opportunities to communicate with their peers. They do not feel lonely and can do a great deal of things together, such as doing morning exercise, playing games, and exchanging memories and stories from their past. On the contrary, if they live at home, they are often left alone when their children and grandchildren are away working or studying.

　　首先，在养老院里，老人可以得到专业医生精心的医疗护理。此外，他们还可以接受营养师准备的合理膳食来满足他们各自的需要。这对健康状况不好的老人是十分有益。而且，他们会接受定期的身体检查，这样可以使任何疾病在发展初期就能被发现。有益处的是当有任何疾病侵害他们的时候，可以立刻进行医疗救护。
