Nowadays many students have the opportunity to study for part or all of their courses in foreign countries. While studying abroad brings many benefits to individual students, it also has a number of disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree?
In recent years there has been a vast increase in the number of students choosing to study abroad. This is partly because people are more affluent and party due to the variety of grants and scholarships which are available for overseas students nowadays. Although foreign study is not something which every student would choose, it is an attractive option for many people.
Studying overseas has a number of advantages. Firstly, it may give students access to knowledge and facilities such as laboratories and libraries which are not available in their home country. Furthermore, by looking abroad students may find a wider range of courses than those offered in their country’s universities, and therefore one which fits more closely to their particular requirements.
On the other hand, studying abroad has a number of drawbacks. These may be divided into personal and professional. Firstly, students have to leave their family and friends for a long period. Furthermore, studying abroad is almost always more expensive than studying at one’s local university. Finally, students often have to study in a foreign language, which may limit their performance and mean they do not attain their true level.
In my opinion, however, the disadvantages of studying abroad are usually temporary in nature. Students who study abroad generally become proficient in the language quite soon and they are only away from their family and friends for a year or two. Furthermore, many of the benefits last students all their lives and make them highly desirable to prospective employers.

Another point is the high cost of education. Younger generation try to meet the educational expenses through educational loans and part time jobs. The hard jobs, heavy curriculum and lack of time management flattened them under pressure. Sometimes they feel, the degree holders remain unemployed and it is better to continue part time jobs as full time jobs and they leave their education. The assignments and projects are sometimes hard to finish on time. All these problems make the student's university study harder than their school days.
The solutions are not simple, but people can manage it and enjoy their studies as before. Firstly, parents and students should realize their strengths and limitations, and the skills needed to finish a course before choosing a course. Dedication and time management should be learnt by the students from their early life itself, which help them to mold their future life without mixing jobs with life or study. Parental support to their children in financial and academic problems like assisting them in a project work or assignment should also be encouraged. As governments are a powerful institute, they can make guidelines for curriculum in higher education and avoid overburden on these young minds. The grant or scholorships and on-campus jobs will provide financial support for them. Governments must either increase the seats of popular courses or approve new universities in both public and private sectors, to start the course.
In conclusion, it is undeniably true that the university education is harder than school studies and with personal, parental and government support and co-operation one can overcome this. Let's hope university students can enjoy their studies as their school days by these approaches.

The basic requirement of a building is its inside use. No one buys a house that he cannot live in only to appreciate its appearance.
As I have said, modern people are practical, so we never do things that cannot benefit us. But with the new techniques and advanced tools, up until now, human beings have no problem to construct a building to satisfy our practical use, thus in this sense, on the basis of usefulness, we have a higher requirement of beautifulness.
That’s why our world has become more and more beautiful.
But it also depends on different cases. Buildings used for exhibition should not be the same with those used for residence. Great buildings for exhibitions or used as museums are art works themselves and worthy of our appreciating.
The most famous is Sydney Theatre. Many people visit it for its great beauty rather than enjoying concerts.
If the building is only for us to live in, then there is no necessity to invite a famous architect do design such an elegant house. Such buildings are also out of our purchasing power.
To sum up, the inside use and the appearance are both very important. But it doesn’t mean that we should always give the same weight to the two. It should depend on concrete occasions.
