  The table illustrates four aspects of quality of life in five countries in 1982.
  In terms of GN per head and daily calorie supply per head, USA had the highest number in the five countries in 1982, and Egypt occupied the second place. Comparatively, the number of Indonesia was slightly higher than that of Bolivia. In the meantime, Bangladesh had the lowest number.
  As for life expectancy at birth, USA ranked the first position with 74, which was followed by Egypt(56)。 Although the number of Indonesia was slightly lower than that of Bolivia, it was much higher than that of Bangladesh.
  In the area of infant mortality rates, Bangladesh had the highest number, while USA had the lowest.
