My favorite sport is without a shadow of a doubt basketball.

And, funny story, I met a NBA basketball player for the first time in my life at an airport when I wasn’t that familiar with NBA.

I looked at him and didn’t know who he was.Now I think about it, it was Kobe Bryant.Wow! I had no idea! What a waste of opportunity!I mean, I could’ve asked for an autograph.But i didn’t. Ooooh, I hate myself.I’m a huge fan of the L.A. Lakers.There’re too many reasons for this.To start with, it’s dynasty in the forming.

Some people say that Shaquille O’neal and Kobe Bryant,THAT was a dynasty!But I’m not a big fan of Shaq; I love Kobe.Being a guard, he’s all around.

He scored 81 points back in 2006 in a game against the Toronto Raptors.

In 2007, around the same time of the year, he scored more than 50 for four consecutive games.

And this year, he’s taking the Lakers all the way to the Final after beating San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Final.

And before that they beat Utah Jazz.We often say that there’s no easy game in the West.And Kobe and his team came all the way.That could only mean one thing--They’re unbelievably good.I play basketball whenever I can.And I even imitate some of Kobe’s moves.

I’m not that tall, but still, I can jump shoot, do the lay-up, and if the hoop is low enough, do a slam dunk.

Being a guard is like being a captain of a team.You initiate every attack, you decide the offense strategy.And when you give out assists, you’re helping other teammates;when you’re hitting three-pointers, you’re encouraging the whole team.

When you do a lay-up in a fast break, you’re pissing off your opponents.The more you play basketball, the more you find there’s more to basketball than just a physical game.

It has a mental state to it.How to be selfless, how to contribute to the team instead of just thinking for yourself, how to work with others--these are also questions we have face in real life.

The NBA has a catch-phrase, i love this game. It’s more than i can say about it.

And this year, i found it was changed.Now the motto is “Where Amazing Happens!”David Stern is absolutely a genius.Basketball provides me more than exercise, but more importantly, inspiration and encouragement in life.I love it.

I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.

2.Do you live in a house or a flat?

I live in a 3 bedroom flat on the 11th floor of a big apartment building.

3.Who do you live with?

I live there with my wife and little baby son.

4.Is it a big place?

It’s pretty big for a flat. It has 3 large bedrooms, one for my wife and I and one for my son when he gets older. It also has a smaller bedroom that I use as a study and to store things in. The kitchen is small but it is part of a big open plan living room, so there is lots of space for the family.

5.How is your apartment decorated?

I don’t like lots of over the top decoration, so I guess you would describe it as minimalist. The walls are all white and the furniture is also either white or black. There are very few ornaments or pictures because again, I like to keep things quite minimal and I hate clutter.

6.Is there anything you would like to change about your flat?

I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.

7. Do you live in a house or an apartment?

I live in a semi-detached house with three bedrooms and a small garden.

8. Which room do you like most in your house? Why?

My favourite room is the kitchen because it looks out onto the back garden, and it's on the side of the house that catches the afternoon sun.

9. Is there anything about your house that you would like to change?

Well, it would be nice if it were a detached house so that we could have windows on the wall that we currently share with our neighbours.

10. Tell me something else about your house.

The previous owners converted the loft into an extra bedroom; that's the quietest room in the house, and the best place to go to do some work.

I use it on a daily basis. I mean, I can’t go a day without it now because I use it to do almost everything, like searching for information, keeping in touch with friends, reading news and loosening up. My computer is a big part of my life now.

2.Who taught you how to use a computer?

Well, my memory's a bit sketchy now. I think it must have been my dad. If I remember correctly, he taught me how to type when I was a 4th grader. I remember thinking it was super difficult and I didn't want to learn it at all, but my dad told me that typing would be an essential skill in the future. He was right.

3.Do you think computers have changed your life a lot?

Yes, definitely. The computer has changed my life dramatically. For starters, when I was a child, I used to play with my little friends outside every day and we always had a ball together. However, now, in my downtime, I just like to surf on the internet and social networking sites allow me to know what my friends are doing. Plus, I don’t even need to leave my apartment anymore when I want to buy something. With a click of the mouse, I can buy anything on the internet.
