Honestly speaking, for the most part, I would probably say that I have a great passion for listening to music and indeed I have listened like thousands of songs so far. However, if I have to pick out a song that I like the most, I would probably choose the song Million Years Ago by Adele. By gorgeous lyrics and melody, it’s like a piece of cake for Adele to make me addicted to this song. A significant feature that I should mention is the song’s meaningful content. It is a regretful calling inside an adult who has born his soul on the way of growing up and earning his stripes. Every now and then I feel he is so desperate that he could do anything to escape the cycle of his life but after all he can’t afford to do so. The reason why I am so fond of this song has something to do with the fact that it provokes so many beautiful memories from my childhood. I don’t think I am suitable to be a teacher, I am not a patient man and cannot bear to repeat the same things frequently. Teachers’ job is really boring to me, you have to make your explanations as easy as possible for students to fully understand. It is a challenging job, I am afraid I cannot do it.

Um… Yeah, I suppose I do, but it’s actually kind of hard to pick out a favourite because I’ve been really lucky with all my teachers. You know, they’ve been really great, at least most of them anyway, but I guess my favourite teacher would have to be my Chinese language teacher, because she was incredible. I mean, the amount of effort she put into her teaching, and her attention to detail, were just amazing. And not only that, but she also showed a genuine care for all of us, which left a really deep impression on me. So yeah, out of all my teachers, I’d say she was probably my favourite.

3.What are the qualities of a good teacher?

I should say a good teacher is one who always is well prepared for the class. And I guess if the person has a good sense of humour that would help because, you know, boring, ah, session, nobody would sit in the class, you know, hours after hours.

Coming from where I, um, am, I think yes, teachers should discipline students. In Korea, students would respect the teachers. My mum’s generation was more so, and my mum had to say one day, she thought teachers don’t eat, don’t go to the toilet, they are demi-Gods and wouldn’t even step on the shadow of the teacher, because you respect the teacher so much. But I don’t think same kind of respect is here and students sometimes misbehave during class hours and I just find it hard to understand.

Umm! not really. I have not given it that much thought. But among my many career plans, entering in the teaching profession is not the one that ever attracted me.

Teaching is considered as the best profession in the world. The teachers help the students to grow. So, to be a good teacher, one needs to be sincere and punctual. Yeah I do. I have no problem with them at all, as long as they’re fair! Because I think, on the whole, they tend to set high standards, and so consequently, that makes us work harder and learn more. And the other good thing about strict teachers is that they keep students in line, which means that the class won’t be interrupted by slackers who just want to joke around and be a nuisance.

I reckon you must have heard of Yahoo. If not, I use it just as a search engine, pretty much like Google. Of course they do many other things, like finance and that. When I first started to chat to internet friends back in high school, I met an American guy who recommended me to download Yahoo messenger. That’s the first time I heard about this Yahoo thing. To be honest, I’d never really liked yahoo messenger so I stopped using it pretty soon. But then I discovered Yahoo.com was actually a pretty handy website which could help me solve all my doubts and questions.

What’s more, I could sign up for an email address and that. In fact, I didn’t use to use Yahoo as much as I got on Google, but since Google got blocked over here in China, I’ve sort of moved back onto Yahoo. These days, I mainly just use it to check some English idioms for my own interest. Apart from that, I really enjoy browsing for all kinds of images and that on it. Even some of my friends are starting to use Yahoo too, although most people around me still prefer Baidu which is possibly one of the most popular search engines in my country.

Anyway, I have to say deep down I still kind of like Google better, although I cannot really think of anything bad about Yahoo yet. I mean at the moment, I’m quite happy with what I can get over the internet with the help of Yahoo. Hopefully Google will be allowed soon so I can have more choices. That’s all I can tell you about right now.
