Describe your dream job when you were young

You should say:

- what kind of job it was

- where did you learn about it

- what kind of training/ skills are needed for that job

and explain why it was your dream job.

When I was young, I wanted to work for a major aviation company as a pilot. In fact, becoming a pilot, who flies commercial aeroplanes, was my dream in my childhood.

I have heard about this job from my teachers and relatives in my childhood and then I had a superficial idea about this job. When I was 15 or 16 years old, I saw a documentary on the tasks the pilots do in Discovery channel that gave me a clear idea of the jobs of a commercial aeroplane pilot.

Working as a pilot requires a very comprehensive training and to become a good pilot one needs very good quality and skill sets. Usually, the commercial airline companies hire the candidates and then give them comprehensive training, both theoretical and practical, and after particular hours of flawless flying records, the candidates are sent to work for their jobs. The theoretical parts teach them the different aspects of flying, route, safety and process guidelines where the practical parts allow them to actually fly a real aeroplane. They need to prove that they have gained sufficient skills to fly a commercial plane before they are appointed to do the job.

I was a fascination on flying the aero plane in the sky. It was a thrilling job to me when I was a young. Since different people of the family members started giving me the idea of good careers and what I would become in the future, I started speculating my own idea and I found the job of a pilot very exciting and prestigious. I knew that being a pilot would allow me to visit different countries across our boundaries and would allow me to meet different people and these 2 ideas also attracted me toward this job. For all those reasons it was my dream job when I was young.

Describe a special cake you had

-What kind of cake it is

-When you ate the cake

-Who you ate with

and explain why you think the cake is special

Well, I in my life I have tasted so many birthday cakes, anniversary cakes, and marriage cakes. But after reading the word “special cake”, there’s only one cake which I think is special. So here I would talk about it.

It is a red velvet cake. Red Velvet cake is a red or red-brown layer cake and this cake is usually topped with yummy cream cheese frosting. Unlike normal cakes, this cake has a blood red interior. It'ss common ingredients include buttermilk, butter, cocoa, and flour for the cake, beetroot for the colour.

As it is commonly served on Christmas or Valentine's Day, So I got chance to taste this cake last year.

I tasted this cake in a Christmas Party held at Hyatt Hotel in Ludhiana. Overall, it was a Christmas party with lots of fun and games. Hopefully, I would be going there this year also.

As I said earlier I tasted this cake in a party, so I had this cake with everyone who was present in the party. No doubt, majority of them were not known to me, but while celebrating, we all enjoyed the party together. I was familiar there with only one person, and that was my friend – Barack Obama.

Well, I believe this cake is very special. It is because for the first time in my life, I tasted a cake which was red in colour. Moreover, it was 4 tier cake. And interesting this about this cake is that Red velvet cake is colored with beets, instead of artificial food colouring. This cake is also called as “red Waldorf cake,” “red carpet cake,” “red mystery cake,” “flame cake,” and “$300 cake”.

Describe something you do to keep healthy. You should say:

what the activity is

when you do it

how often do you do it

also, explain, why it is a good way to look after your health.

I am a not fitness freak and having failed to be consistent in the gym, I have finally restored my health by jogging every day. Every morning, I along with my friends go out on a 5 km jog in the city. We usually start with my house and then move forward towards the city centre and jog in the cantonment area for the most part. It is around 5 am that we start and I am back home by 6:30. This includes jogging and some chit chatting along the way. Also, sometimes we go out for breakfast together, in that case, we land up around 8 back home.

It has been one month since we started it and initially, we were two friends going together but now one more has joined us as well. I really like the jogging part when compared to the gym, because when jogging we are more close to nature and in so many ways get to know the city. There have been areas that we have found out together and it is amazing. Not only it helps in being fit physically but also mentally. There have been times when we have shared our sorrows together and the feeling is really beautiful.

Jogging is always a better option, I believe, because it increases your stamina and jogging in the morning helps you to clear your mind better when compared to other. Also, this is something one can do without much of restraint.

Describe an experience that you were scared

When it happened

Where you were

Who you were with

Why you were scared

How you felt about it

I will share a dream that frightened me 2 years ago. I had a dream where I was awake, but not awake, during a surgical procedure. In my dream, the nurse drugged me with some kind of nerve de-sensitizer. I thought the nurse usually gives a sedative to help relax the patient before an operation. I tried to speak, but I couldn't hear myself. I tried to lift arms; it felt like weights tied down to my wrists.I felt immobilized.

Then, the nurse wheeled me out of my room to the operating room. I felt the burst of cold air from my toes to the crown of my head. It was constant trhoughtout the hallways. The doors flung open as the nurse pushed my bed into the operating room. I shut my eyes from the glare of halogen bulbs overhead. Then, a real doctor rolled a coffee table beside me. I saw a line of tools laid sraight. They looked sharp; they gleamed. My throat started to become dry. I felt the hairs of my arms stand upright. I struggled to lift my head so I could hear the doctors' conference, not that I could hear them anyway. A doctor draped in peach scrubs approached me. He said his name was Dr. Ballastine. He sounded muffled, but nodded yes. He gestured the procedure I was about to undertake. The gestures were slow and methodical; enough to where I could understand what he was saying without speaking. Again, I nodded. Then, he asked if I had questions. I still couldn't speak, so I shook my head. Ballastine nodded and gave me some nitrous oxide to put me to sleep.
