1.Do you like to watch films?

Yes. Probably for the same reason I like to read or watch TV: to experience others’ lives, adventures and emotions vicariously without having to experience those things in reality, such as something painful like a tragedy or a horror, or because it's not plausible in your own life, like fantasy/adventure movies.

At home, there are less people with their mobile phones on, less people spoiling it by speaking aloud. I can rewind the movie as much as I want and I can go to the bathroom all I want without stepping on any toes.

4.What kind of films do you like to watch? (Why?)

I like all types of horrors from Hollywood to Bollywood! The more blood and guts the better! My favorite horror movie is “Saw” and every time I watch it I feel kind of weird and spooked afterwards, but I'll watch it again anyway.

I like lunch better. That’s usually the one meal where I have a little bit of time. It’s also the one where I tend to go out because of being at university or office all day.

I would say dinner. Because dinner is the last meal of the day, and we are all tired out from a whole day of work or study, and finally sit down and have a nice meal, it’s just heavenly. Lunch is often too hasty to be enjoyable, since we still have a lot to do for another half day.

2. Which meal of the day do you think is most important?

I think it would be breakfast. That’s how they say on every health guide, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Apparently you just wake up from your sweet dream and a whole day of work awaits you, it’s very important to have a healthy breakfast to pump you up for the day.

当然，有些考生会比较愿意说午餐或晚餐，那么原因就可以借鉴我们之前提到的用中午空闲的时间来休息，或者说完成了一天的工作犒劳自己一顿丰盛的晚餐，这样会对于心情的调整更加重要等等这样的理由。

3. What do you usually eat for breakfast or lunch?

解题思路：

如果对于这道题考生提前准备了相关食物的内容会更好，如果没有搜集到食物的名称，最好找自己会说的内容来讲，例如说eggs, bread, milk等等。而不是一定要按照自己的实际情况来讲不会的词语，有些考生想说“豆腐脑”，“油条”之类的内容，如果没有这些表达，不仅会影响了流利程度而且还自我提升了本题的难度。所以，建议考生依据已有词汇和表达作答。我们可以说：

The Internet has become an integral part of our lives. Young generation now spends most of its time on the internet. Like others, I also use the internet for various purposes. Most of the time I see what my friends and family have posted on Whatsapp or Facebook.

Here, I would like to talk about a time when I searched for information about how to repair the computer. During the final year of my graduation, it was a Sunday evening and the next morning I had to submit a project in my college. The project was an application/ software which could be used for conducting online exams of students. I had already made that software so on that evening when I started my PC to check whether my software is working fine, the computer showed a blank screen. I restarted my computer many times but it was still showing a blank screen. I went to all local computer repair shops but because of Sunday, they all were close. So finally I thought of repairing it myself.

YouTube is the second largest search engine for all types of creative projects and solution for your problems. So I searched on YouTube “reasons of blank screen on the computer”. There were many people who were giving different reasons of why one can have a blank screen on the computer. Most of them suggested that before doing any major change in your computer hardware, first take the RAM out of your computer, clean it with a soft cloth or a rubber and then reinstall it. There are likely chances that your computer screen will start working. I did the same thing; I took the RAM out, cleaned it and then reinstalled it. After installing the RAM, I switched on my computer and everything started functioning normally the screen was on. It was a great relief for me because now I could check whether my online exam software was working as it should be.

I check it and it was working fine. On the next day, I went to the college and demonstrated my project to the teachers. So the internet gave me the solution to my problem and I was really happy on that day.

Is that a very popular subject to study in your country?

Yeah, I suppose it is quite a popular subject to study, and one of the reasons for this would probably be that a lot of students feel that this major will be useful in helping them find a good job after they graduate.

I guess I probably wouldn't say so, no, mainly because it's a relatively new major in China, and as far as I know, there are not that many universities in China which offer this course.

Is your subject very challenging (or difficult) to study?

(If yes):

Yeah, I'd say it is quite challenging, mainly because of the huge workload we get. So for example, we’re given a considerable amount of coursework to do, which always requires a ton of background reading!

What do you do when you have a difficulty with your studies?

I guess I normally either ask a coursemate for help or go on the internet to try and solve the problem myself. And if I'm still stuck, then I'll go and ask my lecturer for help, but this would be as a last resort, as I don't really like to bother my lecturers unless I really need to.

How did you learn science at school?

Well, we mainly just went through the text book and took notes, so it was pretty similar to other subjects. Though saying that, we occasionally did some experiments, which were quite fun, but unfortunately those classes were pretty few and far between.
