如何用英语点餐:
一、点套餐
Please give me this one. 请给我来这个。
We want two number eights, please. 我们要两份第八套餐。
二、随意点餐
May I have a menu, please？ 我可以看菜单吗？
Could you tell me how this thing is cooked？ 能否告诉我这道菜是怎么做的？
Lobster？ It is steamed and served with our special sauce. 龙虾？蒸过后加上本店特制的调味料。
Is it good？ 好吃吗？
Sure. It is a most popular dish. 当然，很受欢迎的。
I think I will try some lobster, and give me some green salad together. 我想我来点儿吧。再给我一份蔬菜沙拉。
We have three dressings for salad. Which one would you like？ 我们有三种沙拉调味汁，您要哪种？
What kind do you have？ 你们有什么？
We have Italian, French and Thousand Island. 有意大利，法国和千岛的。
Make it French please. 给我法式的吧。 如果对当地的菜肴不熟悉，通常先询问：
What is the specialty of the restaurant？ 这家店的招牌餐是什么？
Do you have any special meals today？ 今天有什么特餐吗？
What would you recommend？I prefer something light. 我想来点清淡些的，你能推荐什么吗？
可以让同来的人替你点菜，或者要重复的：
I will leave it to you. 我让你来点。
I will have the same as that one. 我要一份和那个一样的。
如果不急于点菜时，可以这么说：
Can I take your order now？ 你现在叫点什么吗？
Not quite. Could I have a few more minutes？ 不，我可以再多等会吗？
怎样用英语在麦当劳点餐？
1. May I help you? / What can I get for you today?
每个店员都会问的。
回答：Yes.
这句也可以不答，直接点餐。
2. For here or to go? / Stay or to go?
在这儿吃还是带走？
回答：For here, number one combo. / To go, one Big Mac with medium fries.
视情况回答。
3. With cheese?
在一些店点汉堡时，店员会问你要不要另外加 cheese，大家会比较不习惯。在麦当劳则通常不问。
回答：Yes. / No. Thanks.
视情况回答。如果店员没问，你也可以主动说 without cheese。
4. Do you need some drinks? / Would you like something to drink? / What kinds of drinks?
要不要点饮料？ / 要什么饮料? (点套餐时店员会问这一句)
回答：Yes, one small Sprite. / Coke, please.
每种饮料都有名字，下面再各别介绍。
5. Cream or sugar?
要奶精还是糖？ (有时点咖啡店员会这样问)
回答：Both. / Cream. / Suger.
视情况回答。
6. Would you like fries to go with that?
要不要薯条啊？ (如果你是单点汉堡，店员可能会这样问)
回答：No, That's all. / Yes, a big one.
不要，就这些。/ 一个大份的。（如果你想要的话）
视情况回答。
7. Is that all? / Anything else?
就这些了吗？
回答：That's it. / That's all.
就这些了。通常用 That's it 的比较多。
8. Five dollars and fifty five cents.
店员会告诉你总共多少钱。
回答：Here is six dollars.
视情况回答。
9. Here is forty five cents, have a great day!
如果刚好，他有时会说There is no change!
回答：Thanks. / You too!
吃是很简单的。但是在饭馆就餐，特别是当你在一个陌生国度旅行时就不是一件容易的事了！看看下面这份能帮助你解决就餐问题的重要用餐短语列表吧，你会发现点餐其实很容易的。
1. I'd like to make a reservation. 在一些餐馆中，你需要事先订位。准备好告诉餐馆你们一共有多少人，你会到达的时间及你的名字。"I’d like to make a reservation for four at 8 p.m. for Kristi." 前台接待可能会问你的联系电话或是你是否需要吸烟区，事先考虑好这些信息。
2. Could you repeat that, please? 这个短语并不仅仅用于在外用餐，但是却非常重要。餐厅可能很吵，服务生说话也可能很快。如果你没有听懂什么，就问他们，"Could you repeat that?"当然，简单说，"Excuse me?"也可以。别怕用的太多。
3. We need another minute. 如果服务生请你点菜而你还没有决定的话，就可以使用这句表达。你会听到，"Are you ready to order?" 用 "Not yet. We need another minute," 或是 "Can we have another minute?" 回答。注意"a minute"在一个繁忙的餐馆里通常意味着服务生会在五分钟后回来为你点菜。
4. I'd like/I'll have ... 这是两句重要的表达。在点菜或是点饮料的时候，使用"I'd like…"或是"I'll have…" 例如，"I'd like the spaghetti and some tea," 或是 "I'll have a sandwich and a soft drink." 手指着菜单也总是能让人明白的。
5. Could you bring…?/Do you have…?如果你要更多的物品，就说 "Could you bring some extra napkins?" 如果你想要什么东西但是不确定餐馆是否有的话就试着说，"Do you have…?" 例如，如果你想要橙汁但是菜单上没有的话，就可以问 "Do you have orange juice?"
6. This isn't what I ordered. 如果服务生送错了菜，就说 "This isn't what I ordered, I ordered…"接着说你点的菜。这并不常见，但是如果真的发生的话，注意要说些什么来纠正。
7. Check, please! 当你准备要走时，捕捉到服务生的注意同时说 "Check, please!" 作为你用餐短小而简单的结束语。
