　　Friends play a very important part in everyone's life. And each of our friends is specialand unique. Some friends may be good advisors or confidants while others challengeour opinions or push us to try something new. Therefore, we may like to pursue different activities with different friends, and we may like to be with a large group of、friends or spend time with just one or two. Each has its advantages.

　　One advantage of spending time with one or two close friends is that these friendsusually know us well. We can communicate with them easily and are unembarrassedto share our feelings. We know that these good friends won't judge us. In addition, we are likely to share many of the same interests and will, therefore, find it easy to talk about many things. Finally, it is much simpler to arrange activities when only two or three people are involved.

　　Spending time with large groups of friends also has its advantages. First, being with awider variety of people exposes us to many more new ideas. We may be introducedto new things and develop new interests as a result. Also, we will be more likely to find someone to do things with when we associate with many friends. Last but not least, being with a large group of people can be fun and happy. There will always beenough people to play any game or make up a team.
