特殊的一餐雅思范文:

受邀参加的特殊一餐Describe a special meal you were invited to.

You should say:

When and where you were invited

Who invited you

What you ate

And explain how you felt about the meal.

前考官范文:

Ok then, well I’m actually quite lucky in the fact that I’ve been invited to quite a number of special meals, and the one I’ve decided to talk to you about was a farewell dinner of a good friend of mine, because he was about to go off to Canada for a few years to start university there, so he invited a few of his close friends for a farewell dinner before heading off.

And one of the reasons I’ve chosen to talk about this meal instead of some of the others I’ve been to is simply that it’s still quite fresh in my memory. You know, it was only about a couple of weeks ago when it happened. And as for where we had the meal, well I can’t remember the exact name of the place, but it was quite a posh restaurant somewhere in the centre of the city, and judging from how nice it looked when I walked in, it seemed to be a pretty expensive place to dine. So I was kind of relieved that it wouldn’t be me footing the bill! And we also had our own separate room, which was nice, and probably just as well, seeing as we made quite a bit of noise during the meal, what with all the laughing and stuff going on.

Anyway regarding what we ate, well I couldn’t tell you every single dish that we had, because there was just so much, you know, the whole table was literally covered with food. I mean, there was crab, chicken, duck, what else, um,……oh yeah, shrimps, and, uh…..oh and a whole load of different vegetables. So by the end of it, I was absolutely stuffed. You know, we all ate masses, because the food was so good, and it would have been a bit of a pity to see it go to waste!

But anyway, finally then, with regard to how I felt about the meal, well to put it simply, I really enjoyed it. Because as well as the food, which was fantastic, I really enjoyed everyone’s company. You know, it was great being together with so many good friends, many of which I hadn’t seen in quite a while.

So yeah, all in all, it was a really special evening, and I’m extremely grateful to have been invited, and also very grateful to my friend for his generosity, as the bill must have come to quite a lot, I’m sure!

特殊的一餐雅思范文

雅思口语Part2答案:一顿特别的晚餐

I had many meals and I took part in many celebrations and parties and among them the meal I had with my teachers and classmates in my high school was a very important one and I still remember it.

I had the meal at our school community center. The meal was thrown as part of the fare-well of our batch from the high school. The party was help in the evening and our teachers, classmates and some of the members of the school committee as well as our guardians were present. My father was present with me and he was sitting next to me in the meal.

This was a special meal because this was the last meal I had with my classmates who had been my friend for more than 4 years. I was bit sad to admit to myself that I won’t see most of them in my life again and I was happy that I had such a good memory about my school, teachers and friends.

There was a short speech by 2-3 of our teachers and by 2-3 guardians and after that the meal was served. Many items were served in the feast and we all ate voraciously as we were hungry. I enjoyed the desert very much. I returned home at late night with my father and started feeling that I will never forget this event and the good meal I had with my teachers and friends whom I might not meet again.

雅思口语P3范文:一顿饭

1.Do you like to try new food?

2.What kinds of foreign food are popular in your country?

3.Do you like to cook at home?

4.Is it expensive to eat out in your country?

5.What’s the difference between Chinese food and western food?

Sample answers:

1.Yes, I am not a fussy eater and I am keen on trying new foods. Having a variety of snacks in the streets with my friends will be great fun for me, since neither do I have any particular dietary requirements nor do I care much about food hygiene. Last year when the Taiwanese snacks exhibition was held, I was literally stuffed full to brim. Besides, I have got a sweet tooth and can never say no to the latest cakes or biscuits launched by Starbucks and Costa Coffee. To end the desserts with a cup of latte or Caramel Macchiato will be enough make my day.

2.A wide range of foreign foods are welcomed, including hamburgers, tuna sandwiches, hotdogs, pizzas, macaroni, and spaghetti. The fast food restaurants mushroomed in recent years and enjoyed great popularity among the young generations. Although it is reported from time to time that the energy-dense fast foods contain high levels of fat and sugar, McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut make a name of themselves and become known to Chinese for their daintiness and efficiency. One can choose to stay in or to take away and can just throw the wrappers into bins rather than go through all the trouble washing the bowls and plates.

3.Yes, I am keen on cooking at home. On weekends, I will invite my parents or friends to my apartment and make by myself lots of seafood, vegetables, roast pork, chicken, steamed fish and fried rice. On weekdays, I will prepare refreshments for myself in case of hunger or sleepiness during office hours. A wide range of in-season fruits such as cherry, kiwi fruit, lime, grapefruit contain various kinds of vitamins, trace elements with little fat. If I am particularly tired someday, TV dinners might be the preferred choice.

4.Well, whether it is expensive to eat out in China depends on what to eat. If it is simple home cooking such as steamed or braised chicken, sweet-and-sour fish, broiled beef slices or steamed pork belly with preserved greens, then it won’t be a huge burden for average families in China to eat there twice a week. But if it is a fancy Western restaurant, which is usually for dating instead of family gatherings, then it might cost a little bit for a man to treat a woman.

5.Chinese cuisines differ from Western ones in several aspects. The most obvious distinction is that Chinese staple diets feature rice, steamed buns, dumplings, noodles while Western ones mainly include toasts, buns, hamburgers, oatmeal, and macaroni. Besides, the two culture have different blending of seasonings. Chinese people take full advantage of vinegar, salt, ginger, garlic to remove any undesirable fishy or gamey odors while Westerners make use of lemon juice and vanilla. Finally, foods in Chinese cuisines will be stewed or fried with brown or soy sauces by cooks while those in Western dishes will be added with oyster sauce, butter, gravy or mayonnaise by eaters.

雅思口语经典范文欣赏:餐厅

I’d like to talk about a hotpot restaurant, called super hot, in my hometown. I like hotpot very much. My friend told me about the restaurant, so I went there with my sister.

The food there is very delicious. After eating there many times, I recommended it to my friends and most of them liked it too. I think the manager is very creative. Since the business is very good, sometimes customers have to wait for the tables. The manager make this waiting time more rewarding. When the costumers have to wait for more than five minutes, they can have three plates of vegetables for free. Sometimes we feel happy if we have to wait, which is very different from the experiences in other restaurants. If you eat there, you can enjoy your drinks for a low price and you get your refills for free. I think it is very economic.

It became a very famous restaurant in my city. Now a lot of chain restaurants opened in my hometown. I think the business of this restaurant will be even better. Maybe soon, we will be able to find it in hangzhou.
