面对一些商务信件写作，有很多白领初入职场且不知道该注意哪些细节，往往都是不知就里的随心发挥，要么就是张冠李戴的即兴创作。但这样写出来的信件往往让外商们感到一头雾水，甚至让老板火冒三丈。对于商业信件，最难处理的之一就是如何发送商业事物的坏消息。
1、开篇要有一个与主题有关的中立的陈述句。这样的陈述句要简短，这样做的好处就是让对方现有适当的心理准备，同时让对方觉得你发布的坏消息具有客观性，不存在主观色彩。例如：We both recognize the promotional campaigns that often accompany big sales such as yours.
2、要让对方知道这坏消息产生的原因，这方面就需要作者用正面积极的语言来表达。要尽量让决定看上去合理，让对方觉得这坏消息并不是通过单方面原因产生的。例如：A survey of our dealers three years ago indicated that they felt it resulted traffic and space problems; they were also concerned about legal liabilities as well.
3、将坏消息作为有理由，符合逻辑的结果给出，坏消息给出要客观直接，千万不要道歉，这个时候道歉只会让对方更难受。例如：In response to these dealers concerns, we eliminated these activities. Doing so has enabled us to begin featuring a two-page spread in each major Sunday newspaper, including your local paper.
4、结束交流是的基调要积极，结束语不能过于老套，可以适当避开坏消息。可以聊一聊其他方面的话题，避免谈及未来有可能的连带问题，要避免对上述问题的深入交流或道歉，避免让对方感到你很自私，还一直解释。例如：Best wishes for success with your tenth-anniversary sale. We have certainly enjoyed our relationship with you and look forward to continuing to serve your needs in the future.

Looks like they don't have a date for us when the order can be filled.
A: They say "soon", but who knows how soon "soon" will be.
